Best vista for kerikeri. Very close to town. Shame we could not walk due to rain. Car park right next to falls. But the water did not seem clean.

Our friend recommended a visit to the Rainbow Falls in Kerikeri and we took this opportunity to have a little walk to the upper viewing platforms which provided a very nice view of the falls. I then walked down to the level of the bottom...More

Right beside NZMCA camp and a lovely bush walk of a few minutes down to the base of the falls. Interesting rock formations on the cliff. Kiwi reserve so no dogs allowed.

There are two lookout points that are accessible to people on wheelchairs. However, if you want to get into the water, you'll have to go down a flight of stairs :)
