We visited on a Sunday in March when it was cold and rainy. However, we were quickly warmed up while enjoying a flight of beer. We liked most of the beers that we tried. We also ordered a few food items and found most of...More

My husband and his father love trying craft brews - and we decided to adventure out to Old 690 on Father's Day a few years ago. As I don't drink (and am allergic to beer) I wasn't anticipating a nice afternoon, but honestly I think...More

Great selection of beers with ample seating in the sun, as always, but the new (to me) addition of Old 690 Lite was an unpleasant surprise. Very like Budweiser. Bought a full pint before tasting it; big mistake. Taste it first. If you like Bud,...More

690 serves some pretty good beer and the atmosphere is pretty good too but do not go if you are hoping for a beer and a tasty dinner/snack. I believe that old 690 may have food trucks visit periodically so that would be your best...More

A really great little spot outside of Purcellville! Great tap selections and friendly staff. Loved how local it felt. Virginia is for Lovers (of local breweries!)

But it's worth the drive. Good beer, good apps, surly beer slinger and a relaxing location. Do the sampler! Fun way to taste lots of beers. I will definitely be back!
