Friendly, safe, plenty of parking, hiking trails and one beautiful view of the Downtown of Roanoke. See wonderful sunsets from the viewing platform built out from the mountain. Include a picnic lunch there's plenty tables in the shade.

No need to linger long, but the view is pure beauty. The valley is long and wide, filled God's glory. Love.

This is the place to take friends visiting from out of town. A nationally know land mark. Take your cameras and also visit the Zoo.

the view from this well known site is breathtaking. Roanoke isn't the most beautiful city in the world, but it certainly seems so from this pinnacle. A must see when visiting Roanoke. Bring your camera.

The hike up Mill Mountain for children is an easy hike. The trails wrap around so it's not steep. Children of all ages will enjoy it. You will be under trees during 99% of the hike so it is pretty shady. When they get to... More
