If you would like something that is different and one of a kind, then Black Dog is your place to shop in Roanoke, Va. I shop there because I know I get good quality at great prices and I love walking around in the store for you always find several unique things that you can use.

Out-of-state customers took up 3 spaces in greenway public use lot for their RV (parked it sideways)

This is one of my favorite places to visit in Roanoke. I first visited upon a friend's recommendation about 6-7 years ago and it has definitely grown since then. I have never seen the TV show that's filmed there but I'm sure that has also increased their visibility. When you get to Black Dog Salvage, there are some outdoor items... More

We went to black dog for a project we were doing at home. Mike was there and right away came up to us and introduced himself. It's nice to know that he works at the store still and has full knowledge of the things in the store. He helped us pick some doors out and gave us great ideas for... More

Having driven through the area a couple times and not having time to stop, we made sure to do so on the third trip! More antique booths than I realized in there, but very nicely put together. Prices were all over the place. Expected to see more salvage items than we did. But what they had was well organized compared... More

This is a cool longstanding land mark in Roanoke. This is not a flea market and those expecting that will be disappointed. It is primarily a building salvage company that repurposes in very clever ways. The place is filled with unique fun items. Highly recommended.

This was an entry on my husband's bucket list. He loves to create & build things and wanted to visit this store. It was a really nice and unusual place. A large number of various salvage items were available for purchase. There were also repurposed items scattered throughout the store along with added retail items. The store was divided into... We see them on tv so we figured we'd stop by. Very nice place. Extremely happy that my wife and I got to meet Mike. He was more than friendly. Bought plenty of stuff!

My soul the staff is super friendly! We looked around and browsed. Every staff member we encountered was overly friendly. We saw Robert & Mike walking around. We went on Christmas Eve. There are at least 2 restrooms & both were clean and had a can of air freshener, that was great. There is so much to look at in... More
