Shenandoah Caverns has been thrilling visitors since 1922. It is the only Virginia cavern with elevator service, making it one of the easiest caverns to tour. It's also the closest major cavern to I-81 (Exit 269). Our famous bacon formations are so...more

Fun, interesting site especially if your in to geology and or spelunking. I do recommend bringing a jacket as well. There’s two other on site attractions to do as well. Our guide, Carlos, was very entertaining and informative, I’d highly recommend.
Stunning caverns, it was so amazing going down into the caverns, the sights were unbelievable. The tour guide was so informative yet made it a fun time ! Many interesting stories about the history of the caverns !

Spent a beautiful weekend in the mountains of Virginia. We had been to many other caverns in the state but never to the Shenandoah Caverns. This one is every bit as stunning as Luray Caverns. Excellent tour guide and fun group to go through with.
Amazing caverns. Well lit and the best part was there were elevators to the bottom. Especially great for older adults. Beautiful up-lighting of certain areas. Really enjoyed the included parade floats on display which is included with your ticket. Guide was very well informed.

Hello, We really enjoyed the Shenandoah Caverns. The Luray Caverns appear they would be fantastic as well. The Shenandoah Caverns have an Elevator which was good for me as I was traveling with a broken foot. I don't think you could go wrong with either. Also the Shenandoah Caverns had a Groupon which might be available.
