Wonderful, friendly staff. Knowable about town and events. A must stop before checking out the town. The Arts Center sharing the building has beautiful things for sale.

Great place to reset the touring compass on your way through the Triangle. It is easy to pick up tips on places to eat as well as less well-known sites to consider. Great facility for a break.

Learn the history of this great area, small donation $2.00 and worth every penny. Start trip here and enjoy rest of downtown, people were all so friendly everywhere we went.

The volunteers in the visitor center are unmatched in friendliness and helpfulness! They gave me brochures, maps, suggested things to do, sites to see, deals all over the area! And we're quite entertaining!
