We are a classic 2 screen drive-in theatre, celebrating 60 years of movie memories "Under the Stars". We are the only drive-in theatre still operating in the Northern Va/DC/MD metro area. We offer classic car speakers, a playground for children, special events through out the season. Movies projected in High Definition Digital, stereo 5.1 surround sound if you use a car radio. Full service concession stand, offering hot meals to standard theater snacks. Double Feature movies of current or new movies are our standard offering, but we do triple and dusk to dawn shows as well. We are PET FRIENDLY-- so bring your dog(s) to the movies!

Our favorite part of the drive-in os being able to watch movies in my car or sit outside of my car with my girls. We love the all nighters, we have a blast. Can't watch a movie without popcorn which is the best. We have a blast every time we go. Love the events they do and all the food... More

We went to the Drive In for their Labor Day movie marathon. They were showing 5 movies for $8! We stayed for Finding Dory, and Secret Life of Pets, but they showed three more movies after that! They had a food court. I got a hamburger. It wasn't great, but it was good. The sunset in the mountains was very... More

We got there about ten minutes before the show started, so didn't get a chance to use the playground. The people at the front kiosk were very friendly, as were those in the snack bar. It really had the feel of a family run enterprise. They give you the choice of the old-time window hanging speakers or hearing the soundtrack... More

We made a last minute decision to head here on labor day weekend for the Dusk to Dawn Marathon. We barely arrived in time and got a spot way in the back. We were impressed with the entry price of $8 pp and $4 per child. The concession stand had quite a line, but the food was satisfying, mostly fried... More

Had a great time. Watched 2 movies. Was able to bring my pup. Someone even brought their cat. Plenty to choose from at concession stands. Not too highly priced as some. Pleasant and patient employees. Clean grounds, stands and bathrooms. Grass area to play ball until movie time. The line to get inside can get a bit long. Best if... More

This is a great driven. Double header current movies. Great Audio and parking. The food was good as well. You can chill in your vehicle or sit in chairs in front of it.

Always enjoy going to the Family Drive In. Where else these days can you get two movies for the price of one? You can load up the whole family or take a date night. Snack bar has everything you could ever want, even some healthy options. The theater is always clean and well maintained. Lines are long on weekends so... More

This harkens back to my childhood. The speakers on the poles and the good food at the refreshment stand. There's a playground for the kids and many folks arrive early to make a full evening of it. The people working there are very friendly. Most folks bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit outside. The new digital projectors provide a... More

We really enjoyed this trip down memory lane. The food was good. The staff was friendly and courteous. It was refreshing to listen to the National Anthem before the feature. We will visit again when we are in the area.

We were not aware of the place unless we came across a Groupon. So we finally drove 65 miles to see "Ice Age - Collision course". Was it worth it? Read it here in the next few lines ( this is not a review of the movie) So, the place is easily accessible and seems to be pretty decent. It... More
