Also don't Miss Riddicks Folly, next to Visitor Center, Guide and curator "Lee" was the best guide I've interacted with in months. but getting back to cemetary, handout in visitor center, is walking/driving tour. Many interesting Headstones, statutes, etc.

Buirned by British in 1779, rebuilt after Revolutionary War, burned in Great fire of 1837 and rebuilt the same year. Lots of history. Served as Civil War HQ of Union general Peck. Very friendly and helpful tourism staff
With loads of information on the area this is a good place to start your time in Suffolk. Very friendly staff and after getting some advice we set about our tour and also picked up a momento or two from the small gift shop.
Stopped here for some culture on our trip to VA. This place provided some great photos (out front and the long covered walk in the back). There are some nice shops inside including an art gallery. This was well worth our time to visit.
As always, Kevin is an exceptional tour guide. This 90 minute guided tour winds through the cemetery and provides a glimpse into the past lives, families, tragedies, and wars that made the local area what it is today.
