The weather was perfect for a February afternoon-unbelievably warm! We were able to observe activity of several juvenile whales for about an hour. The problem was that there were so many people, I couldn't get a decent view or picture of anything. Every single picture I took had the head of a person in front of me. People were packed... More

Though not as big as some other aquariums, the exhibits are well done. It's a great place for kids and adults. I love the manta ray petting tank. There are boat tours that change depending on the time of year.

We have a season pass and go almost every weekend. Our 6 month old loves looking at all of the fish and turtles. If you live in town, a pass is the way to go. It's practically the same price for our 4 adult pass (our baby is too young to count) then it would be for 4 adults to... More

I loved seeing all of the different fish and marine life. There were "bubbles" (picture) in some of the exhibits that made you feel as if you were in the exhibit. They also let you touch Manta Rays (picture) which was so wonderful and I was so excited. I also got to touch a snake and a horseshoe crab. It... More

My wife and I wanted to take the Whale Watching expedition boat trip, but it was full. So we decided to visit the aquarium to see if it was worth us bringing our kids back. We love taking family trips to the many different aquariums. We will not be bringing the family to this one! It was very small and... More

This aquarium was a perfect place to stop by on our journey down to Florida. Our daughter had a blast when she was walking around and I don't think that she will ever forget that she got to pet a nursery shark ! So much fun! Thank you for a awesome day!

Saw 7 different humpbacks. Wonderful!. Staff was informative and had great stories. Can't say enough about the trip. Money well spent. Had no idea we could see whales in such a plentiful amount off the shores of Virginia. Take the time to go on this trip!

We had a great time seeing the sea turtles behind the scenes, six bald eagles in the wild across Owl Creek and six whales, including a breach and two very close surfacing whales. I'm sure we'll be back.

Nice aquarium, quite big. The highlight was the baby ray tank that you put your hands in to touch the fish. Little quirky.
