Lots of information shared for all to appreciate and understand. Great tour of living history. My 12 year old son was engaged and enamored the entire time!

We gathered in Virginia Beach as a family of 16. Some of us decided to visit the museum for something to do. It turned out to be a fantastic experience. We were so surprised at how much fun we had and how much we leaned. The sights were just amazing. Young, old, male, female- doesn't matter! Fun for all!

I went to the Military Aviation Museum during the "Warbirds Over the Beach" weekend. The museum has a great collection of US, UK, German, and Russian WW2 and WW1 fighter, bomber, and transport planes. The WW1 planes are replicas. During the "Warbirds" weekend the WW2 planes all took off and landed. There was also re-enactors from UK, US, and German... More

Thanks, Dennis Glad you enjoyed your visit. Sorry the weather was less than cooperative, but as you said we did fly most of our planes, if only briefly due to the low ceilings. Hope you come back soon! More

The staff members at the museum are all military veterans and are very knowledgeable about all the aircraft and the history of the museum. They are wonderful staff to ask questions and you could just spend hours talking to them and viewing the wonderful assortment of aircraft. Not only US aircraft, but other countries as well, they will take you... More

I'm a big aviation buff and had low expectations for this little off the beaten path museum. I expected to see the aircraft I've seen one hundred times before at museums and air shows. The first thing I saw when I walked in was a German V-1 Buzz Bomb. I went into one of the attached hangers and saw about... More
