Out of the way, but very peaceful (except when the jets are flying). An added bonus is that if they are flying, you get to see them land.

This is a small park en route to NAS Oceana. It's worth a 10 minute stop going to or from the airshow.

This is not a time consuming attraction. There isn't much parking, but not many people visit the site at one time. If you wish to reflect upon the country's POWs and MIAs, the site will offer a moment to remember these heroes

Quiet place to remember our heroes - POW & MIA. There's a few plaques and small monuments. The Oceana air base is behind the memorial, and it's nice to see and hear the jets taking off - remembering the price of our freedom.

A beautiful place to stop and be mindful of the service of others and their impact on our daily lives. Be grateful to be American

Not easy to find but worth the visit especially for Vietnam veterans. This is a nice tribute to the veterans of that war that is situated close to the Ocean Naval Air Station that was host to a lot of pilots who flew combat missions...More

If you're not paying attention, you'll drive right by it. The flame is burning bright and has a beautiful story behind it. There is plaque that tells you the history of the flame.

The flame stays lit!! It was such a great experience and had to see in homage to my grandfather. Vietnam Vet. We loved the greenery and how well kept it was. Spent some alone time there.
