This statue is amazing! We took pictures with her. It is right on the boardwalk. Who ever did this staute did a fabolous job on it. You can tell a lot of detail was put into it.

The Virginia Beach boardwalk has some interesting things to look at while enjoying a walk, and this is one of them. This statue commemorated a ship wreck and lives lost from an accident back in the 1800's.

This statue tells a sad story of a Norweigan shipwreck in the 1890s. I wouldn't go out of my way to see it, But, If passing by stop and enjoy it
