We went on the pier and sat on one of the benches. It was fun to just sit there and watch the waves going in towards the beach. The dolphins came around before sunset.

This is a great pier! I've been visiting here with family for years and always come here for bait and fishing. It's great being able to rely on a few things. The Virginia Beach pier is one of those retreats that is a welcome home...More

It’s gives pretty views when you walk out on but stinks that you have to pay just to walk out on it. Did it once for the experience but won’t pay to do it again

We were here for a sporting event, but made sure to spend lots of our free time here. No disappointment for us!

Walked out onto this not expecting it to be as disgusting as it was. However, I should have been prepared since it was a fishing pier. It is not a romantic walk type pier, it is a smell dead fish and squeeze your way through...More

I'm not sure about the specifics of that, but the person in the booth the day we visited was very helpful. I'm sure someone would be able to help you there.

No. When you pay to get on the pier and rent the pole and get the bait you just go fish.
