Very quiet area, nice long trails to explore, there are lots of bugs.. come prepared... it's a marsh. Fishing is ok, if you have a canoe. There are no motorized boats allowed... read more

Very quiet area, nice long trails to explore, there are lots of bugs.. come prepared... it's a marsh. Fishing is ok, if you have a canoe. There are no motorized boats allowed. Next to impossible to fish from shore from most of the marsh. At the Dam is your best bet for fishing. The other reviews are accurate as well.... More

Luther March is a beautilful nature area, located about 25 km west of Orangeville. Good place for a silent hike. No service.

Luther Marsh is a wildlife perserve and there focus in on this rather than on tourism the scenery is quite beautiful, but one needs to be use insect repellent as they can be quite voracious. enjoyable for an relaxing day if one lives close, which we do. I would not make a special long trip for Luther Marsh as there... More

We were visiting family in the area so we decided to "explore" the marsh. It is about 2 hours from Toronto, if you are hiking it is not worth the trip from the city. We were there yesterday, late May, the day was cold. We were expecting to see some wildlife but nobody was there. We were told the birds... More
