Do not go here expecting some sort of turkish baths - think more along the lines of a big outhouse with warm springs in the middle. The building is literally falling down around you (gaping holes in the roof, significant rot throughout). Changing into a suit is not particularly private (we were there for the co-ed family experience) and on... More

Really enjoyed an hour float in these mineral pools. The water was crystal clear and warm and made my skin feel so good. I do wish a little maintenance could be done to the changing facilities Understand the historical value (I do appreciate places of "yesterday" I love old buildings being maintained and restored rather than being torn down) But... This place is disgustingly dirty. Mold on the walls, 17 dollars a head. The roof has not roof, bird droppings everywhere, bathroom out of order, needs to be condemned.

So, if it would have been warmer than 42 degrees outside, this is a five star. However , it was still a must do adventure. Pack your suit and the easiest set of clothes to put on when damp--- and go. $17 for an hour (only credit card) is a very rustic warm pool. They aren't hot, just a warm... More

Stumbled upon this when researching the area. Found my bathing suite and brought it on my trip in case we stopped at the springs. Glad we did. It was an hour of relaxation. Water was crystal clear and as it is named "warm". As long as you don't expect much it is nice. There is a need to fix up... More

Nice dip in the Jefferson pools. One of my favorite places to visit. After an hour in the pools, we felt so relaxed!

I now know what the ladies of the 17th century felt like when they wanted to partake in a "spa" day, for this place looks and feels like I should have my stage coach parked out back. While I understand the historic distinction of the place, I do have to say that a bit of white paint, nails and a... More

go check out the Jefferson pools, it's an experience like no other. Went during the winter so the historic aspect of the pools made the changing rooms super cold but all worth it in the end. Place is falling apart but that's what you get for how old it is.

The pools are very old, be warned, this is not a day at the spa. There are silos located on top of the pools that look like they have not been touched in 200 years. The changing rooms are just a cubby separating you from the pool by a shower curtain and they are not heated. The only benefit to... More

The facility is 200+ years old, and has been keep the same way for that period of time. It means: (1) no heated changing rooms, (2) no secured lockers, or even secured curtain for the changing areas for that matter, (3) not really hot spring water. It was a warm soak... and after a while you start to feel cold... More
