Great place for a walk

Great place to get outside and see great flora and fauna. They also do an amazing job decorating the gardens with lights during the holiday season.

It is delightful to walk in during any season. This year we went at Christmastime to see the light displays. It was gorgeous. Of course, my favorite time of year in any garden in the Pacific NW is late-April to May. That is when there are colorful flowering plants everywhere and make the area like no other.

We spent three consecutive winter at the garden for the d'light photography. Really cool. It's been 12 years since we last took pictures of me pregnant. Summer time is simply gorgeous. It has everything for everybody. They added a cafe in which i am yet to visit but I'd like to go there to support their new addition. Walking in... More

Recently renovated and always expanding the Botanical Gardens always delight young and old. We've gone there so many times and always have a wonderful expierence. Don't miss the christmas lights which are artfully put up each year. Be sure to make a donation to keep the place beautiful. There are paths tucked away that you might miss, like the one... More

This is one place in Bellevue I always try to visit. It has a lot to offer and is always trying to improve both the planting and the general facilities. While botanic gardens usually appeal mainly to adults who love nature and gardening there are always children around in the garden when I visit and there is plenty to interest... More

This garden was a fabulous place during the years from about 1999-2006 or so. It was an outstanding place to view many rare and unusual lush perennials, shrubs, blooming trees, etc., but small enough to allow you to wend your way comfortable within 2 hours. Some time after that, they yanked out most of the interesting plantings and have replaced... More

Most certainly on the top of your list this is a must see in Seattle. I could have stayed all day. It just flows from one beautiful room of art to the next!

My wife and I love taking walks in the Botanical Garden in Bellevue...especially in the Spring time when new buds are popping and the place comes alive. We enjoy most anytime in the garden for quiet strolls of reflection and discussions on upcoming plans. We always leave the garden refreshed and energized. Thank you BBG for the calm you bring...
