Beautiful city park with the feeling of wilderness if you keep to the interior. At least 3 loud, wonderful cascading waterfalls. several miles of trails, leading to fisheries and the bay downtown, or out to Lake Whatcom.

This is a beautiful part of Bellingham, WA that a lot of people overlook ... it is both wonderful to behold in winter, as in spring and summer. The wildlife is everywhere ... the scenery is outstanding ... the atmosphere is spellbinding. A must see...More

Even if you're just passing through Bellingham, a 10-minute drive from the freeway will take you to one of the most beautiful falls, replete with an old stone bridge. Perfect photo ops! If you spend a bit longer, the trail system around the falls is...More

This is one of my favorite place to go in Bellingham! Green, quiet, and very peaceful. We saw two deer as we drove in to the parking lot. There is a nice little playground for young kids, and some picnic tables near the parking lot....More

Went here for a hike, It was more of a walk. Beautiful place. Painters were on the bridge painting the falls.

Great place to spend an hour. Beautiful waterfalls, easy walk, lots of dogs too. Very easy to find and a great way to get some exercise in. Lucky people who live nearby.

Spent a few hours here in early May. The park was lovely - great weather, well-maintained trails, and the waterfalls were absolutely gorgeous. Would be a great place for a picnic lunch. They also had playgrounds for the little ones.

The trails are marked so follow the one for the falls. You may have time to walk several trails. If I remember correctly, parking is mostly by the trails.

Yes, there are many places in the park to read a book. If you want to be near the falls, I would of course bring a folding chair or spread a blanket.
