Last week a friend and i spent three hours in the park, walking, photographing and just absorbing the atmosphere. It is truly wonderful and free. If you like old growth forests, bubbling creek, viewing a remarkable foot bridge built with the help of the CCC...More

We spent about two hours walking some of the many trails in this park. Good place for a walk, and the WPA stone bridge is pretty, but the falls were nothing special.

Very pleasant place to walk and enjoy the sights. The stone bridge built in 1939 was an amazing bit of engineering, and a high point of the walk. The falls are beautiful, and the shady walks under the canopy of trees is very pleasant. We...More

We went with a toddler and had fun walking around. There are some stairs. The bridge is very cool. It had been dry and only rained the day before. I'd like to go in the spring after rain. There's also a fish hatchery. Several trails...More

Stopped for a quick stroll through the park, its really very pretty, although the waterfall was much lower when we visited in September. Quiet, lots of trails - pretty stop if you're in the area!

This is a beautiful park in middle of town. Waterfalls and birding and lots of trails. You wouldn't know civilization was so close. Great for a stroll or exercise.

Great place to take a walk or bike, feel like you are out in the wilderness, but are in the city. I did a short walking loop which was pretty flat, so not too strenuous for most people, trails well maintained.

Still worth seeing, especially if you like to hike through beautiful woods. This waterfall has a wonderful reputation and will be beautiful when there is more rain (probably not a problem in Washington).

We live near the Whatcom Falls Park and have always enjoyed the journey. It is a short distance from our home and close to Downtown Bellingham. We are blessed to have so many fun places to go.

Yes, there are many places in the park to read a book. If you want to be near the falls, I would of course bring a folding chair or spread a blanket.

Hi, I would download a pdf of the available trails, there are 3-5 miles of trails in the park, but at least an hour on the main trail. There is a PDF of the trails you can dowload, I can't post a link here, as it's... More
