We loved it. We stopped on the way to Mt Baker area for a show shoe hike. In late May, the falls and river were full force from melting snow, so it was very powerful and beautiful. My family loved it, and loved how the...More

This park can be slippery when wet and it's usually wet. The views are wonderful, from moss covered trees to the rushing waters of two streams that invited settlers and lumbermen into the area.

"Go East 542", as the locals say and enjoy the drive. The falls are beautiful and impressive to see during the Spring runoff. The last Sunday in May is the Ski to Sea from Mount Baker to Bellingham. The race is the world's first and...More

Whether you "white water" the Nooksack or just hike along the rivers edge, the Falls are a beautiful site to see. We consider the Falls the gateway to Mt Baker. Wonderful day trip.

Well worth the short bumpy drive off the main road. Easy parking and short walk on an uneven trail. Other trails nearby. I did not see picnic tables but lots of rocks and stumps to sit on.

Free parking nearby. Nice views and loads of trails for walking or jogging nearby, Need own transport to get there from town, but worth a visit.

This nearby falls has meandering paths and a lovely bridge that makes for good pictures and a calming feeling. It is worth the short drive to spend a leisurely time enjoying the rush of water and the meeting of forest scenery with hiking.

Recent wind storms have taken down most of the leaves. The latter part of October is usually best for color along both the Mount Baker highway 542 and Chuckanut Drive. However, those are both great drives at any time of... More
