I truly love Lake Whatcom. It really beautiful during the fall. I love the fog setting on the lake. The color of the trees changing during the fall are truly dynamic

The water is cold and clear. There are multiple parks and hiking trails around it. We enjoyed seeing all the birds during our walks. There is also pretty good fishing.

We came from the south and drove around Lake Whatcom on our way to Bellingham. It was very nice and quite large as well.

We are lucky to have friends that have a house here. We have been many times since 2009. Every time we go is better than the last. Very relaxing and not too far from the border

The crystal waters of Lake Whatcom are worth a whole day dedicated to its wonder. Grab a boat, grab a bite, take a dip. You will not regret any of it. Washington has some of the most prestigious bodies of fresh water around.
