This park has beautiful trails to several lakes be prepared for steep trails and make sure you get a map because trails aren't well marked

There's a nice short trail to the beach or you can take the trail up to Fragrance Lake, Lost Lake etc. Everywhere you go is great scenery, you won't be disappointed.

If you are camping, this may be a great place, but if you are just visiting for a few hours, it is a pretty small park so unless you are going to use the beach, I am not sure it is worth the entrance fee....More

Nice day park or over nite rv/camping. Beautiful place, great for kayaking, picnic, camping. Burlington close by for shopping. Views to die for..full rv hookups at a nice price.

We stayed one night here, and wish it could have been longer! Really nice full hookups for trailers (I'm fond of T26), great hikes to the beach and lakes, playground, big field and friendly campground hosts make this a place to which we'll return!

You have to know where you are going, to get here. There is plenty of parking, & toilet facilities. The little walk to the beach is not wheelchair accessible, a bit of a push for this senior citizen; but worthwhile. Beautiful scenery & nice picnic...More

No, I wouldn't be afraid. Cougars and bears are usually scared off by dog's barking.
