This is a terrific visitor center midway up towards Mt St Helens. Great exhibits and Mt St Helens videos. It adds to the dram when you see the pictures and hear the stories of what happens before you head on up the mountain. Regretfully, this...More

Weyerhauser Co. built this center, and it is absolutely wonderful! Kids learn so much from this place, and there is so much hands on for them! Everybody - young and old should visit this learning center! I give it 20 stars!!!

We called in on passing and the place was closed, apart from the gift shop. However, there are some nice forest walks. A short one does a loop from the car park and has interesting information boards about the ecology.

Place has a nice gift shop. unfortunately, the actually center was closed for the year already when we stopped in mid-September. I was pretty disappointed since this is supposed to be a nice place.

Was fairly sure that this place was a forestry industry advertisement disguised as a learning center. Although your kids can and will learn and the exhibits are great it is still one big ad.
