There's not much to this park but the natural beauty that surrounds you. The walking path is flat and paved. Many bicycle the path as well. The path winds along the Snohomish River and then diverts to the slough. Its often empty except for beautiful weekends.

It's great to be able to get outside in a quiet setting. There is water and many kinds of birds. Nice place to stroll and collect your thoughts and get away from sounds of the city.

I've lived in the area for many years. I never knew this walk around Spencer Island existed until my son told me about it. It's a hidden gem. Very few people. A great stroll along the water and wildlife. No bikes to keep dodging like on other area walking paths. Flat walk and fun to explore.

THis is a wonderful area to observe nature and wildlife , we like walking this and always see so much. the preserve is absolutely great. We encourage anyone who can muster even a short walk to do so. And it is mostly paved to wheel chair accessable. great news.

A friend brought me on this hike to Spencer Island Park. I had no idea it was there. Glad I was up for the whole thing. A good hike for me as I do not do well with climbs. Pleased with a view of the river out on the east side of the trail.

Except for the people who ignore the signs and bring their dogs into the park ( a bird sanctuary and the dogs disturb them) it is a wonderful and beautiful park. A lot nicer at high tide.

Spencer Island and Langus Park have been a family destination for years. It is a fantastic asset for the city of Everett and the surrounding area, once you get over the fact that it is adjacent to the waste water treatment plant, which really is kind of fascinating...

Okay, okay... some will complain about the sewage treatment plant closeby. But the smell is usually not a problem. This park is quite large and has a nicely graded path for either biking or hiking. It is located right in the Snohomish River delta, a great place to watch birds and witness the ebb and flow of Puget Sound's tide.... More
