Went instead of Whistler to try something different. A nice mountain with good snow, but the lifts are old and slow and there isn't much vertical. A nice place, but not comparable to some of the premier resorts in BC (Whistler, Big White, Sun Peaks etc...).

It's not a resort destination with slopeside accommodations. It's not Vail, or Aspen, or Whistler. And that's a good thing. It's a throwback to a simpler time where it was about the skiing and the scenery. Sure, they've upgraded the lodges (the new Raven Hut is beautiful) but the main attraction here is the great outdoors. If you're an intermediate-advanced... More

After watching the weather and how the systems were moving we saw that mt baker was going to be cold and hit hard. It's position seems to put it in the path of moisture, it's elevation means it will fall as snow. After getting consistent 10, 14+ inches of snow over 5 days we had to go. We booked a... More

Awesome ski area! Easy drive from Seattle. Lots of variety and for every level of skier. There is always parking in the lot. Good food and beer selection in the day lodge. Live music from time to time in the lodge while you eat. The is a pro shop. You couldn't ask for the nicest group of people that work... More

The drive up from Glacier is somewhat of a pain, but it's worth the effort. The views of Mt. Shuksan and Mt. Baker are really spectacular.

We had a nice sunny day. Could see Mt Rainier in the distance. Reflecting lakes were awesome. Went in morning and again at sunset.

Went here for the hiking, the parking lot was almost full, but the people were friendly on the trials and fantastic views of mt baker. The trails were great and we will come back again. A good hint - have the $5 change for the parking pass. Beautiful place to visit

We went and hiked in this area- just beautiful! with any different trail lengths and options available or whatever type of hiker you are. We had a 2 yo with us so we did a couple of easier hikes, but still had beautiful scenery! it was a beautiful clear day. I hope we can go back sometime and do more... More

The area has a variety of summer trails and great views. The best place to go is Artists Point and take a walk from there. Pick a clear day!
