Point no point is on the straits of the Puget sound. Clear says you can see across the water to whidbey island, port Townsend and beyond. A nice 1 mile trail takes you to the bluff overlook in a tree area. At low tide it's fun to walk the beach and watch the kids and fisherman enjoying their day of relaxation. They have upgraded the bathrooms from portapotty to nice pit toilets. And the secondary parking lot provides plenty of parking. The beach is easily accessible and the water is calm for wading and water fun. A must for family fun

We love coming to this beach. This is a sandy beach, not the rocky variety that is abundant in this area. The views are amazing. There have been two separate occasions that we had seals playing in the water less than 200 feet from shore. People have built driftwood huts, and these are pretty cool to look at.

The parking is limited, but I never been here when it has been an issue. This is a great beach for collecting shells, having picnics, watching wildlife, and flying kites! Absolutely worth the 30 mins it takes to get here.

Spent several nights at the Lighthouse Keeper's cottage, just a hundred yards from the Lighthouse itself. The building is maintained by the US Lighthouse Society and was a wonderful way to ring in the New Year. The home is beautifully restored and has plenty of room for two couples or a family of 4. The unexpected bonus was viewing Orcas from the window! Curious seals checked us out from a few feet offshore and the wide variety of birds made this a birder's winter paradise.

This is a very neat lighthouse to visit during the day, but I highly recommend the vacation rental in the keeper's quarters! Just go on their website for rental info. It was so cozy, with awesome views of marine life and boat traffic. No keepers duties required, just time for relaxation! There are shelves and shelves of books inside, plenty of ways to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Out of the way at the end of a road, this park/beach/lighthouse is a beautiful place to spend a day. Terrific views, a sandy beach, and of course, the lighthouse. The lighthouse itself is only open a short time, but the rest of the area is worth the trip.

Cute lighthouse, great view, restrooms. First parking lot leads to very small stretch of beach next to private property which says no trespassing but everyone just walks across on the beach anyway. This parking lot is much bigger with trailer parking but you need discovery pass. Another small overflow lot along street, then main lot bear lighthouse. This one fills up faster. Paved, popular. Good place for picnicking, kayaking, safe beach for kids. Gently sloping sandy beach, sand, some shells, some driftwood.

Point No Point and Hansville area. Have been to this beach many times, there is also a
another beach in Hansville that is a bird reserve. Hansville is a small community outside of Seattle,Washington on the North Kitsap Peninsula. What makes it so special is the quaintness, natural beauty, and the fact that there is virtually no crime. Its is interesting that geographically it is nestled between the Puget Sound, which Point No Point Beach and lighthouse are, and The reserve sits on The Hood Canal. It has several miles of walking trails, and very little traffic, so biking is great. Not crowded at all. A great place to spend with the family or live IF you are lucky ebnough to be able to afford to live there.

The Point No Point Lighthouse is a beautiful Lighthouse in a beautiful location. Although the lighthouse is open, visitors are not allowed to climb up to the lantern room. The Headquarters for the United States Lighthouse Society are also located here.

Make sure to go during low tide so you can walk along the beach. It can be windy so plan accordingly. There is plenty of parking. There isn't much to the light house but the views along the beach are beautiful.

My family visited here on a day trip to Port Gamble. It was a sunny Saturday afternoon and the temperature was great by the water. The lighthouse itself is very small, composed of two rooms with several artifacts on display. There was also 2 volunteers there to help answer any questions.

The beach just outside the lighthouse was very sandy and full of kids and sunbathers. Note, that you need a Discovery Pass to park by the lighthouse (and in the overflow parking lot). There was also a small gift shop in another building next to the lighthouse which sold souviners, drinks, and ice cream. The only toilet facilities by the lighthouse were several porta-potty units (although it looked like they were building permanent toilets nearby).

I wouldn't make a special trip to this location unless you're in the area or if you want to hang out on the beach. Beautiful view of the sound!
