The lighthouse and the 2 keepers houses are an easy walk from the parking area. The houses are available to rent and would accommodate a large family group. The view from the lighthouse is worth the trip

Nice short hike to lighthouse but the state is still repairing so you can only get close. Pretty overlook definitely worth the trip if you are any where close. Dog friendly just leash and pick up and it's a good walk even for old dogs...More

Did not realize this was available to the public. You enter a parking lot and then can walk a short distance to the light house or the road in front of the lighthouse. We were able to watch the Coast Guard practice working the waves.

Short easy relatively flat walk to the well worn lighthouse. Whilst you can't get right up to it, it is still worth the walk.

This lighthouse, although it may be a little drab and worn, is really neat to see. The walk to get to it is pretty short and easy from the parking lot so I'd say it's good for families and beginners.

Plenty of parking. Short walking distance to the lighthouse. Easy to get to. Bring your camera. Lots of photo opportunities. Beautiful Ocean views. Glad we went.

So windy today, about blew us away. Nice easy stroll to the light house. And very nice view of North Jetty.

Just a short hop over the Pacific ocean by bridge from Oregon to visit a stoic lighthouse called North Head. This lighthouse was used to guide ships to the Columbia River mouth. A short walk to a beautiful scene. This lighthouse overlooking the ocean is...More

There are no accommodations at the North Head Lighthouse. Never have been. Boreas Bed & Breakfast Inn 10 minutes away, however! My B&B! See our Trip Advisor listing!

You'll probably need to check the website. It might still be under renovation.
