This is a walking tour organize by the city . It is really a fun activity that goes through the main town section and it is DIY tour rather than signing up for one. Attaching a brochure for reference

We kept hearing about La Conner from friends. We had some time during a long weekend and went down for a day trip. We did not regret going to this quaint little town. It is very pedestrian and people friendly! We parked for free and strolled around all day checking out the town and shops. The old very well kept... More

A very interesting town to visit and walk around. Lots of shops seemed to be closed on a Tuesday which was too bad.

Very expensive tourist town. You can easily walk it and see everything in an hour or less. Most of The restaurants are mediocre and very expensive as are all of the shops. There are no waterfront parks (green areas), and the Main Street is a parking nightmare. There were drunk, passed out locals passed out right in town and as... More

We strolled around First Street in LaConner - if you go before noon, some shops and restaurants aren't open yet. We must have steped into nearly every boutique and gallery on along the river front. Lots of great artwork and craftsmanship but we just browsed. There's even an art museum with free admission. My favorite store was "Go Outside" on... More

La Conner is accessible off highway 20 or off exit 221 on I-5, just follow the directions and you will find it. We were not looking for this town, but were just following the scenic road. There are lots of free parking on the street in the winter time (maybe be not so much in the Summer). It is an... More

La Conner is well worth the stop if visiting in this area. Many cute and quaint little shops. Friendly and helpful people. Farm community. Beautiful fields with the crops labeled. Great place to buy fresh berries and lavender. We ate at the Farm house right off the main drag. The pies are to die for! Never saw such meringue on... More
