Watch glass art being created

Beautiful glass artistry, priced from "tourist" to "collector". Very interesting to watch the pieces being blown - or you can blow your own with their help.

Lovely glass gifts blown on site. Interesting place to shop for unique gifts from jewelry to whimsical garden decor. Definitely worth a stop while in Langley

If you are on Whidbey, take a trip to Langely and visit Callahan's Firehouse Studio and Gallery. They have very beautiful handblown glass and make sure you schedule time to blow your own project. There were 4 projects to choose from and the guys were amazing at teaching the process and well as letting you get hands on! You pick... More

The artistic glass is stunning here. The jewelry is lovely and there are useful, but beautiful kitchenware items too. My favorite were the whimsical garden items often featuring undersea themes. Of key note there is an opportunity to blow your own glass creation by appointment. Friendly artist and owner.

I do not live in the USA but I was able to book a class on line easily. I was able to choose what item I wanted to make too. I made a pumpkin even though it was not the season for it. I even got to choose the colours. The instructors explained the steps well, and the reasons behind... More

One of my bucket-list items since I was a little girl was to blow glass. I stumbled upon this place and decided immediately that it was time (15 years later!). I was amazed at how much I actually got to do and not just watch. The instructions were clear, the teacher was extremely friendly and it was an overall wonderful... More

Not always have I met the artisans and so enjoyed the interchange. I ate next door and noticed the lovely drinking glasses. Went over to the Firehouse, just to admire. Well, the two gentlemen were so friendly and knowledgeable, I bought 8 glasses and a beautiful paperweight.

We loved this! We have daughters aged 12 and 17 and they both had a great time. The owner takes the time to explain it all.

We visited Callahan's Firedhouse in 2015 and decided then that when we returned in 2016, we'd try to take a lesson and make our own items. We were able to do it and had a great time. You're more a of a helper than a do-er but that makes sense considering you're working with glass at 2200 degrees. As the... More
