Fun time by car or foot

Fun little shops along the main street and lots to look at and explore around the area by foot or by car.

This is a town where it feels like people actually live and work there. Lots of high quality food and shopping

Very authentic pacific beach town, with fun places to eat and visit. And the beach is spectacular! Longest beach in the USA. Be sure to see the whale skeleton. Best part is visit to the Cape Disappointment State Park and get to see TWO lighthouses.

Long Beach is a bit remote, being 45 minutes +/- from Astoria, and not near much of anything else. The SW portion of Washington is sparsely populated. HOWEVER, if you can get lodging during the Kite Festival it is very much worth the trip. (The rest of the time encourages you to lay back and take occasional day trips.) Our... More

From Ilwaco to the south to Ocean Park to the north with Long Beach in the middle this stretch of Washington Coast is a great destination for families and folks who simply love the beach. The beach is driveable and is especially inviting in the summer.

We stayed here for two days for our 5-year anniversary. The town is cut and loaded with restaurants! There's a go-cart track and in downtown LB, lots of fun activities and the usual touristy things.

Nice to wander - lovely beach boardwalk and fantastic restaurants not found in other Oregon/Washington beach towns.

There are so many wonderful things about the Long Beach area. Lots of historical sites, state parks, lighthouses, and a wonderful, wide, long beach. The towns are quaint with lots of things to see and do, with many good restaurants and hotels. We love going to Marsh's to see Jake the Alligator Man and all the other weird stuff they... More

Cape Disappointment is a must. Lewis and Clark were here. Take a walk on Waikiki Beach, and one of the longest beaches in the world, you can drive on it also. Decent places to eat, and shop, short drive North to see the charming town of Oysterville with literally mountains of piled up oyster shells from Willapa Bay. A short... More
