Natalie, Anna, and Michelle work very hard to keep this park in top-notch shape and make it fun for all ages. These employees are great examples of a perfect 1000 trails ranger. This park has groomed trails out to the asphalt beach bike path which is a big plus for walkers and bikers.

Quiet and great beach to drive your 4 wheeler. Be careful here, lots of newbies stuck in sand. Plenty of good restaurants and nice board all to take a long walk. Will return

Part of the Lewis and Clark Discovery Trail which is 16 miles long and starts in Ilwaco. The long flat beach that's perfect for kite flying and relaxing. You can even park your car on the beach. The nice boardwalk is built above the tall grasses and runs the length of the beach.

Enjoyed a drive (yes, on the sand) along the beach. Such a nice, relaxing view and experience. There is a boardwalk, perhaps 1 mile long, to enjoy complete with whale wood carvings as well as hiking trails through the grassy dunes. Perfect place to fish the surf or fly a kite. Has public restrooms at major entrances.

It was a lot of fun being able to drive on the beach. A great place to get your feet wet, do some surf fishing, watch the sunset and have a bonfire.

What a gorgeous display of nature! This beach is nice flat and hard to drive on. We were in a minivan with no issue. It wasn't too busy in March for us to be out and about and park anywhere with no worries of being hit or anything. Weren't many people out due to it being cold though so this may change in warmer months. Was fun to look for random rocks..we even found a piece of Kimberlite! Kites fly great here and the gulls will put on a pretty great show for some pieces of bread out the window. We really enjoyed our off season visit. This ocean is absolutely unsuitable for swimming even ankle deep I would avoid. The currents were wild and unpredictable. We saw the coast guard doing some practice drills for rescues while visiting nearby at the lighthouse. They said most that enter the water don't end well. Just fyi for those thinking of making this a swimming spot. But to see nature and enjoy the ocean it's a win.

Miles of sandy stretch of beach, plus the pacific waves crashing, and our two dogs running like crazy on the beach: all with minimum number of people. We stayed at Adrift hotel which is 60 second walk to the beach. And their heated pool and sauna are so relaxing.

We went to the beach at sunset, the best time to get pictures. There were cars on the beach, one caveat, be careful not to get stuck in the sand. We walked because my husband did not want to get stuck. The beach is one of the longest beaches in the world.

World’s Longest Beach and it’s beautiful. You can even drive the beach down most of the peninsula. The Discovery Trail is a fun walk that takes you the entire length of the beach with great views and info spots along the way. Beachcombing is always a treat.
