Another easy Lopez Island hike. Not strenuous at all. Good views of seals at the end of the hike. Total distance a bit over a mile round trip.

Very easy hike! Not a long trail, very manageable with small children. Definitely beautiful sceneries!

This was a lovely short hike which ended with gorgeous water views. We enjoyed walking along the coast and then sat and watched a colony of harbor seals frolicking nearby! It's so beautiful and serene; you can spend hours here.

The most gorgeous view I think I may have ever seen. I heard the roar of sea lions, watched harbor seals swim by me, saw bald eagles soaring above and the water was so turquoise crystal clear that I could see fish nibbling at the...More

It is a short walk to the shore and the amazing views of the Olympic Mountains. The tide was going out and it was an amazing sight, a fast river of moving water. San Juan Island is just across the channel, it feels so close...More

This is a lovely hike. Not too long. And mostly flat. There's an island with seals on it at the end of the hike. So be sure to take your camera. Just don't expect to see sharks.

The views are stunning. A one mile walk- not stroller or wheelchair accessible- to great beach. You can look across to San Juan Island.

We bicycled down from Lopez Village as many people do. It is a short hike in from the road to the beach. Outhouses, but no water. We saw seals on an island just off shore. From this park, you can look across the water to...More

Yes! Just an FYI When you get on the main road to where the trail is at, continue all the way down until you see the trail sign.
How far is it from the ferry terminal to Shark Reef Sanctuary? Would it be easily walkable?

Thank you Rhonda. We won't have a car so I was wondering if we could walk there. Is there a bus or anything that goes around the island?
