As others have said, remember to park at Agate Beach, and don't let the private road dissuade you. Also as someone else said, do check out the portta-pot at Agage Beach. The hike in is lovely, in the trees. It was longer than I expected...More

Huge glacier carved rock headlands overlook Seals and birds, after a shaded short forest approach walk. Some narrow rough pathways may challenge the less athletic.

This is one of the lovely Lopez hikes at the Southern end of the island. Great views. Easy walking. A little tricky to find the trailhead.

A network of trails through the national monument is accessed via a private road. Do not let the private road dissuade you. The hike takes you through primeval forest, saltwater coastal prairie, and spectacular views of the islands and the Strait of Juan de Fuca....More

I really had no idea how beautiful the views would be from here. If you're lucky you might even see some whales in the distance. A great and easy hike - a must do on Lopez Island!

We went for a nice and easy hike with our children, including a four-year-old. The hike was very nice, full of colorful and fragrant flowers, and it got us to an amazing view of the neighboring islands. We got to see a group of seals...More

As another reviewer said, be sure you know where to park and what your route is to reach the sign that.... eventually.....points the way to the Point. It's a fairly long trek in until you reach open space and those wonderful views. Ten minutes or...More

First of all, the directions to get to the point were pretty vague. Just remember to park at Agate Beach Park and walk on a private drive until you get to Bat and Ball Lane. To the right of that is another driveway that has...More
