So many options in one lovely mountain park! Hikers can choose from many forested trails, some rather steep and challenging. Many paths are multi-use (hikers and mountain bikers.) Some bikers are better than others at using a bell or a yell to let hikers know...More

The little mountain park has some good trails, but we drove directly to the peak Lookout point. There is enough parking. You can spend 15-20 minutes here. You can see the farms and I5 clearly from here. However the views aren't photogenic. It is obstructed...More

This is an area that has changed quite a bit. Be sure to hide your valuables and lock your car doors! Nice relatively easy hiking. Well marked.

Nice place...maybe they should consider to open the park till night so then u can see the light of the city...But sometimes the park is closed without any reason.

Mount Vernon's largest park with sweeping views of the Skagit Valley & surrounding communities. Take a drive up here on a beautiful, sunny day & check out the outlooks/views. You can also hike on numerous trails!

We did not have enough time, so the visitor center employee suggested us to visit this park. It was only a 1+ miles drive and the view on top of the mountain was fabulous. I would suggest everyone who passes Mount Vernon to visit this...More

Friends who live in the area took us up at sunset to see the park and the views...it is spectacular. What a perfect spot for picnicing and/or hiking. Plan to return and hoping for a clear day in April to view the tulip fields.
