Located approximately 25 miles north of Seattle, The Future of Flight...

Located approximately 25 miles north of Seattle, The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour is the only public tour of a commercial jet assembly plant in North America.

Explore the interactive exhibits and displays in our 28,000-square-foot Aviation Center Gallery; then take a 90-minute tour of the Boeing plant where you can watch 747s, 777s, or 787 Dreamliners being assembled right before your eyes.

There is a minimum height requirement of 4 feet (122 cm) for children participating in the Boeing Tour. To avoid disappointment please make sure to check height before purchasing tickets. This restriction is strictly enforced.

ADA accessible tours are offered twice daily. Call in advance to ensure proper accommodations.

In the Future of Flight Aviation Center Gallery, the Family Zone is home to a number of different activities, all designed around a theme of aircraft manufacturing and assembly. Activity carts let visitors build a simple aircraft model, or use our Lego (and Lego-compatible) pieces to express new ideas about aircraft design. A kid-sized airport and aircraft allow future pilots of all ages to practice their take-offs and landings. Currently, the Family Zone is also home to a highly engaging, hands-on nanotechnology exhibit, and our new Bernoulli Table, an exciting interactive experience that teaches the relationship between the velocity of air and the pressure it exerts. Coloring and reading activities are also available, and drop-ins are welcome. Admission is free for ticket holders and for Future of Flight Foundation Members.

While I won't provide a review about the assembly plant, other than to say it was absolutely fantastic (check out other reviews for more details), I did want to review how we got there. Tour operators charge around ~$75/ea. Wanting to find a cheaper alternative we booked tickets online direct from Future of Flight then rented a car from downtown... More

Starting with the super secret "don't you even dare bring your smartphone into this tour or we'll throw you out for suspected espionage" declarations, you know you are about to see something special. Then, after the boring intro movie and instructions, get on a real bus, and be swept onto the super secret super important facility. Drive by a $30M... More

The tour guide was one of the most personable, informational and entertaining we have ever experienced. The tour starts in an auditorium where everyone is once again reminded there are no available restroom facilities for the next 90 minutes. (Apparently a lot of folks do not read the list or warnings and instructions that come with the ticket purchase). After... More

Great tour around the Boeing Factory, including professional introduction of the B747, B767, B777 and B787. After the tour een stroll through its museum.

The tour accommodated me and my walker. I am a disabled Veteran and they really went out of there way to help me have a great experience.

The public tour of the Boeing Aircraft factory is impressive due to the shear size of the production. This facility is the largest in the world according to the Guiness Book of World Records. Seeing that many airplanes in production under one roof is incredible. I also have had a private Boeing tour on the assembly floor due to my... More

We booked this tour using Viator before we left New Zealand. I specifically was interested in this as I had seen the documentary " Megafactories " about Boeing. We were picked up on time by Northwest Tours, we were lucky - just three of us on the bus out to Everett a 35 minute trip from downtown Seattle. Our Guide... More

Very interesting tour and our tour bus driver Heidi was wonderful. My only complaint is the floor in the shuttle van was very slick.

Of all the tours in America, and I've taken a lot of them, this is by far the best one! You first get to see how these airplanes changed the world in a small cinema room. They then take you to three of the four lines of production, the Boeing 777, 747, and 787. The 767 isn't on the tour.... More

We took this tour and visited this center several years ago. It wasn't a planned event we just happened upon it and decided "why not". It was the best experience we have ever had. The Boeing plant is enormous and the tour was so informative. When new went to the Future of Flight Aviation Center it enhanced our experience. If... More
