Family and I took this hike while I was visiting them in Kirkland. I was not prepared physically or mentally--it's quite a climb! I made it to the top nonetheless. The views from the top were beautiful. Took this hike on a sunny October day,...More

Nice, strenuous hike. Good all year round although you might want micro spikes in the winter. The trail goes through forest the whole way and the view at the top is worthwhile. Go early in the morning if you want to avoid crowds.

Mt Si is just plain gorgeous. As a local I see it from about four or five different angles- and its beautiful in any weather. In winter it is dusted with snow, in summer, the sun hits it just right and lights it up as...More

3200 ft gain, as I recall, in 3.7 miles on a good trail. Too busy on weekends but a good training hike with pack for summer mountain climbs. A scramble at haystack but don't do that alone.

First: make sure you plan accordingly for a steep hike with some elevation gain-timing, weather, parking, etc. The trailhead is well marked and maintained with some pit toilets and a trail map. Take a minute to check out the map or take a picture of...More

We had a car but noticed there was a bus route to North Bend. check out the bus lines for their schedules. you also could book a Twin Peaks tour or a hiking tour. We saw sign for various tour companies.
