The Center is full of information. Our children enjoyed all the displays and especially all the interactive displays. The volunteer in charge was very patient and explained lots of things to our kids. We stayed for a couple hours and could have stayed longer. Lots...More

A little hard to find but keep going you will run into it. Wasn't sure if this was going to be worthwhile but the manager at the Windjammer recommended it. A very pleasant surprise. I usually find these type of places boring or worse. Not...More

We were waiting for friends and decided we god to visit the interpretive center. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but dont miss this if you go to ocean shores. The people running the place are very knowledgeable and they have several rooms...More

A nice place to stop and get information on the area. They have some exhibits about local wildlife, sealife and such. Nothing fancy but it's kind of fun.

Was closed, but the outside displays were interesting. Especially with the provided information. Sad statistics on how many whales were killed by the local industry historically.

You would not think that when driving up you would be exposed to this type of hands on museum of the coastal type - good displays on plate tectonics and wild life found in the area
