Sort of what you might expect with the legalization of weed. Its a really strange idea, not well realized--it's basically a bunch of junk scattered around the owner's yard, some pieces closer to scrap metal, a few closer to something like art. Calling all the assorted objects scattered around the property, "art" would be a stretch, but it is a... More

My wife and I took our Granddaughters to the Park today, June 29, 2016, to have a picnic and to tour the grounds. Unfortunately, there were "CLOSED" signs posted on all of their signs. We decided to have our picnic anyway at one the the umbrella-adorned tables at the entrance, hoping that no one would shoo us away. A cute... More

My daughter took me here. I was visiting from Florida. This is a very relaxing peaceful place and the "jewels" scattered about the trails are beautiful. Like hunting easter eggs.

It is a nice wander thru the interesting art. Look carefully as some is slightly buried in tall grass. I didn't do the maze as by then I was too hot and by myself; however, it did look as though it could be interesting. Perhaps another time I'll venture thru it. No fee is requested to wander the grounds; however,... More

Monarch Sculpture Park has reopened. It is a ways out of town. Great to ride out there on "Western Bike Trail". Very fun, whimsical. Took picnic lunch and enjoyed the art and pleasant surroundings, birds, etc.

Thank goodness for our Garmin GPS. My wife and I set out with Mapquest and handwritten directions, but we went astray in Tenino. We stopped in a church parking lot and programmed our Garmin. It led us back to Tenino and turned onto the old Hwy 99 heading north. A right turn onto Offut Lake Rd, and a right turn... More

I attended on a overcast day which created a sharp contrast to the colorful, creative sculptures in the park. While it only took an hour to navigate, you amble far from civilization so the only sounds you here are gravel underfoot and the assorted sounds of farmyard animals. The park provided a very soothing experience for me and a nice... More

Really cool, whimsical sculpture garden that goes on and on. I loved a bunch of the exhibits...not museum quality for the most part, but really excellent displays and settings. Worth the drive!
