It is a small but playground but it has plenty of physical activities for the kids. There is a board walk along the boat dock area, there are places to eat. and it is downtown Olympia for shopping. There are bars in the restaurants

This was a nice walk we took after dinner and watched the boats and birds. Very relaxing. There were a few shops and a good seafood place nearby.

If you're looking for a nice walk anytime of day, this is it. There's too much to see to be any more than a stroll though. Boats, sea life, arts, playground, restaurants and shops all combine to keep you moving, but not racing. The majority...More

I had a hard time choosing a rating rank for this one. I've lived here for a long time, and this, in my opinion, has always felt like the heart of Olympia. It's a beautiful setting, and a great way to spend the day -...More

We enjoyed the boardwalk as we watched the boats in the Marina. As with the surrounding area, there are many transient folks; some picking through garbage, others sleeping in the park-like areas.

Great walking on the Board Walk and taking in the sights and sounds of Puget Sound. Smelling the different restaurant smells which is tempting your taste buds. Different shops to visit and great restaurant's.

Budd Bay comes right up to the street at this area. Nice boardwalk area with several restaurants, playground, and public restrooms. Also Farmer's Market is close by. Moorage is available at several docks, some with power and some without. It is first come, first served.

I live in the Sierra's of California, so I need a waterfront 'fix' once in a while. On a recent trip to the Puget Sound, this was a great place to start an early morning stroll. I love to walk the Marina, see the gulls,...More

If you're lucky enough, you'll get to see a sailboat sailing out with the mountains in the background. It was such a tranquil place to be visiting. Upon further observation we were able to see jellyfish swimming in the water! There was a cute park...More

There is some on street free parking as well as metered on street near Percival Landing. The parking, all over Olympia, is free on Saturday and Sunday.

Yes. Olympia does have a leash law, so your dog should be on a leash.
