This is a great place to take children or anyone of any age who has not had the opportunity to snorkel or explore tide pools. It's a wonderful, low-key museum/exhibit with a friendly staff.

We went to this not knowing what we were getting into. First was the Orca whale, Hope, who had died and they rescued her body and had her bones on exhibit to see. You could watch a video on the whole thing, which I found...More

Cool spot we chose to go to. Admission is $5 and includes parking, as well as their second exhibit on whales.

Features a great collection of sea anemones, urchins, cucumbers, starfish, all accessible for hands on experiencing. A fun time even for adults. Even better if you plan on going tidepooling while on the coast. Very informative and interesting

My husband and I enjoyed checking out the touch tanks and reading about the local marine life. It was interesting to learn about the Orca that died there and how its remains, etc. have been used to all who visit there.

We always have a good time. The center is on a pier overlooking Admiralty Bay. The view is wonderful, the air refreshing. Inside the touch tanks and docents are fun and informative. You feel like you are getting to know the Northwest waters.
