You can buy everything for your boat (which, in Port Townsend, is often a wooden boat!) here, from rope to dinner ware. Good organic coffee, nice people, and lots of beautiful wooden boats to check out.

What a wonderful experience to see all the incredible wooden boats of all sizes and learn about their history. Enjoyed observing the passion of the boat owners and found the boat building seminars intriguing.

Cool place for non locals to visit, but not much to do. We just wandered around. It would have been nice to see more history.

The Northwest Maritime Center has some wonderfully informative displays to help people (especially children) understand the dynamics of sea life in the Pac Northwest. The volunteer staff are well informed and eager to explain things.
