There are very few places that pack as much beauty and serenity into such a small area. The wisteria is gorgeous. The gazebo and surrounding plants are magical. You don't have to spend a lot of time here but do have to visit and be thankful you did.

This is in a neighborhood, so more like a park for locals. It has beautiful, well maintained gardens, some playground equipment in different locations for kids, open grassy areas, a gazebo (weddings must take place here!), two fantastic swings that even adults will like, and beach access. Enjoyed our time walking through this park!

This is a cute park that we stumbled on by accident. It has beach access down a steep slope. Plus more formal plantings, a playground and bathrooms. Nice place to feel away from things in Port Townsend (if PT wasn't "away" enough for you).

This lovely park is walking distance from uptown Port Townsend. There is no entry fee and spring flowers are bursting forth now. It's lovely to walk through the trellises areas, gentle slopes, past water features and along a slit rail fence down to the sea. We were able to spot a family of five otters along the shore. One of... More

This is a very nice park on the edge of town, overlooking the water and Whidbey Island across the channel. Lots of grass and trees, plus a nice play area for families with kids. Great place for a picnic. Also able to walk down to the beach to explore the tidal area.

If you're visiting Port Townsend (or live here), Chetzemoka Park is a perfect spot for a picnic. We like to purchase a fresh crab from Key City Fish Co., pick up a loaf of bread at Pane d' Amore, buy yummy cheese from Mount Townsend Creamery, select a bottle of wine at The Wine Sellar, and take it to the... Chetzemoka is sureal. It has two swinging benches where I would swing for hours looking at the beautiful view of the water if I could. There is a way to get down to the beach for a stroll either to Fort Worden or the other way towards downtown which are both fairly close. I have seen fun things like a... More

Chetzemoka Park is a wonderful small city park on the shore of The Puget. Sound, with views of the Cascade Mountains. The park has a gazebo, picnic tables, play equipment, grassy areas, and lots of flowers and trees.

A relatively small but really, really nice park with great water-mountain views, gazebo, picnic areas, etc. Also has the only off leash dog park in town. It's very small but okay for us as we have a small dog. Deer in the park ( they are a lovely presence all over Port Townsend and saw coyote too).

Chetzemoka Park is a beautiful place for the whole family. It has big grassy areas, lots of flowers and trees, play equipment, and a gazebo where they have free band concerts during the summer. The park is situated on a bluff overlooking the entrance to Puget Sound. There is also a trail which leads down the bluff to the beach.... More
