Located in the original city hall and jail, now refurbished and operated by the historical society. The city council still meets on the second floor. First and basement floors dedicated to a really well constructed history tour and art museum.

Funny that when we asked a native person from Port Townsend that they could not direct us to the museum. We found it on our map and enjoyed the history and all of our our questions were answered by the person at the desk.

Great way to learn a bit of local history in a beautiful building. My kids liked the jail cells the best, but it was all interesting. Friendly staff too.
