We recently happened upon this small treasure tucked along the northern Washington coast outside Sequim, Washington. For a tiny park, it was well-used by picnickers, dog-walkers and beachcombers on the day we visited. Not far from the much-heralded Dungeness Spit, Marlyn Nelson Park has restrooms, plenty of parking, picnic benches and fire pits, a boat launch and a rocky shoreline... More

They give a top notch talk on Lavender, how to harvest, how to extract, how to use Lavender in foods. They really know their stuff! Their Lavender Gardens are BEAUTIFUL!!

This place was very nice, lots of people. Lovely fields. Had a bit more than the other lavender farms we toured.

Mike and Sue have a really sweet farm on the way to the Port Williams boat launch. It's a bit out of the way, but worth the visit. And their wonderful golden retriever Trevor is a wonderful "greeter". They distill their lavender - not everyone does - and it's exquisite. Love stopping in to the gift shop and have Sue... More
