Wonderful little hike!

Spur of the moment hike, wonderful short hike down to the spit after a impromptu picnic lunch watching the waves!

A great place to go and wander around, stretch your legs and your mind, smell the salt air, listen to the wind and the water, relax.

We love this state park. so well kept. Close to Sequim, Hurricane Ridge, Dungeness Spit. Great sites, they are big and roomy. The lower loop has the best views of the bay without the highway 101 noice

We stayed here mid-September, when the weather was lousy in other places but warm and quite dry in Sequim. The tenting sites are well-kept and quite private for a state park campground. We took our trailer in to the dry camping/tenting area and there were virtually no other campers there, as it was shoulder season. The park is clean, well-maintained... More

Camp Ramblewood is an amazing retreat location! We had a large family event in the lodge and were shocked at the location. There was a large shower/bath house, nearby camping, loft filled with beds, commercial kitchen, fire pit, and large recreation/ diningroom.

Stopped at this Park to stretch our legs while driving to Neah Bay. Was very impressed with this Park, very clean and maintained. Hands down, the cleanest shower/restroom facility I have ever seen! Quiet and secluded and just off the highway with campsites, trails and beach access. A hidden gem.

I've never camped there, but have spoken with campers on my walks through the park. They were happy. It's clean and well maintained.

This campsite as two circles: one reservable, one not. Most sites are not very private and few have views at all. The campsites nearest the shore however, you can hear the sea waves lapping, plus the shipping lane foghorns when overcast. The campfire areas are well confined. Be aware that the wind carries sand up the cliff sides to "glue"... More

Sequim Bay State Park has both overnight camping and day use. It is right on the Straits of Juan de Fuca aka the Salish Sea. San Juan Islands. You will need a Discover Pass.
