The Pioneer park is not large, but there are picnic tables available, and there is a building with a kitchen and dining space for maybe 60 people. The park is covered with mature shade trees. Arrangements must be made in advance to rent the building.

My son loves the giant "Christmas" tree on the west side of the park. This park is filled with lovely grassy areas and beautiful flowers.This is not a playground park; nice for a picnic if the weather is cooperative
