Something for everyone at this terrific ski resort two hours northeast of Seattle. Comfortable deck dining overlooking challenging long slalom run. Dramatic large mountain with steep back country and nice trails through woods. Surprisingly good food (poutine was the favorite of some, falafel with quinoa salad for another, pulled pork sandwich with curled fried sliced potatoes for others, and a... More

I spent about 4 hours riding Stevens on Monday and had a great day overall. Stevens has some of the best glades that I've found in the Washington area which pleasantly surprised me! The double diamond lift was closed, and speaking to a season's pass holder, I was told that they tend to shut a lot of lifts down on... More

My sons enjoyed their skiing on the mountain. Two of them spent the morning having ski lessons, since it had been many years since their last skiing experience. I enjoyed a leisurely breakfast in the lodge while watching the ski lessons. I relaxed over my coffee while reading after breakfast. We met for lunch at the upstairs restaurant/bar. I had... More

Unfortunately the weather had caused the snow to be horrible in certain areas. They had a ton of snow in just a few days and then it rained. Therefore, several runs were closed or too dangerous to ski. This left everyone to ski on the groomed runs, very crowded. The lines were not bad for as crowded as it was,... More

Weekends are always busy. The day we went was even more so with a 24 hour ski benefit going on. Even with the parking lots at capacity, I never waited longer then 10 min for the lift.

Thank you sun for making an appearance for two days this past week. The backside of Stevens is much more enjoyable when you can see the views when riding the Jupiter chair lift. I'll definitely be back

Beautiful terrain, trees and natural landmarks are not disturbed to make a 'safer trail' as some other resorts may claim. No, Stevens is the real, wild deal. An amazing staff keeps trails clean, chairlifts operating and functioning properly and beautifully, and whether you're a begginer in ski school, or up on the ridges rippind double black diamonds, Steven's is the... I don't get a lot of time off work with my significant other, and we finally had a day off and wanted to ski. We left Seattle at 8am, made the drive in the snow, sat in a line of cars for 1 hour, AND THEN WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NO MORE PARKING!!!! We sat in the car for... More

Best way to go will depend on what kind of snow u were looking for, powdery, fluffy...blah....but is always a haven for first timers like me, loved that I came here on a summer mode, feels less cold I think. A must do for adventurers to try skiing!

I was able to travel back to Seattle the week before Christmas and stayed at a cabin on a river 20miles down the road from the summit. My first day I spent an hour getting my board waxed and edges sharpened and bought a powder pack pass which lowered my per day cost significantly. I came up daily and would... More
