Beautiful gardens. Dog friendly. If you have a choice between Manito Park or Riverside, definitely go with Manito especially while Riverside under construction Summer of 2017

Well worth a visit, Manito Park is beautiful. Peaceful, wonderful plants to look at. The cafe in the park is excellent too - the peach iced tea is the best ever!

THis is a wonderful city park to visit. You can walk through different types of gardens. My favorite is the Observatory, but I also like the Rose garden and the Japanese Garden. It is an elegant park with lots of character.

This is a gem of Spokane Parks. Trails to walk or ride a bike; large pond, great place to take children and families.

Probably one of the best parks in the state, The rose garden and the Japanese Garden are a must. This park also has a lot of history so worth the visit

There is a wide variety of units in this park that are easily explorable in a short amount of time. Smaller in scale, but high quality installations at this civic centerpiece.

All of the suggestions above are great, but please don't feed the ducks! Also there is no Chinese Garden; only a Japanese Garden. Enjoy!

If it's not raining you can walk the whole park. Have a picnic and take great pictures.
