A fabulous location to have some great views of the falls get some scenic pics of the falls and the Spokane river. With many location vantage points for photo opportunities this park is worth the visit and I really would not miss if you are in the area walking around downtown and/or near the Riverfront area. There are seating locations... More

huntington park is not really a tourist attraction, not the sort of place you would destination travel to, but it is a nice green space in the middle of the urban sprawl.

Huntington Park abuts Riverfront Park on its western flank. It is owned and maintained by the local power utility (Avista). Right underneath the old brick hydroelectric power plant, it gives visitors dramatic views of the Spokane Falls. The park is beautiful in its own right with interpretive displays of hydroelectric turbines and of the power plant's history. But the main... More

Have been residents of Spokane since 1991 and been to nearby Riverfront Park numerous. Huntington Park is rather new and we finally got a chance to stroll down there. In case you are not sure where this park is, it basically sits where the parking lot for City Hall is on Post street and meanders down the hill almost all... More

I love this park. I am so glad that Avista made this area public so we can walk right down to the water and view the beautiful falls. The park is perfect place to bring family and friends.

Huntington Park is a beautiful addition to the Riverfront Park Complex in downtown Spokane. We enjoy strolling through the park at sunset before a dinner at one of several fantastic restaurants in the area. This park is also a great place to photograph the falls in the spring during the high water period. There are a number of interesting sculptures... More

You can get right up next to the Spillway and the Falls in this small, hillside park. Plenty of stairs for the best views. Sky ride crosses overhead. Lots of spray could be plenty refreshing on a summer day.

Loved taking a walk through the park, seeing all the different art displays and sculptures. It was very pretty and we enjoyed seeing a little more of Spokane in the small amount of time we had to spend there.

This is a fantastic park with a central feature of a fantastic river that runs through city central. Love the history and recognition of tribal gathering place. Many visits here with friends, family and grandchildren. Cannot wait to follow the revision of waste water collection plans that add additional ecological care to the site. AVISTA power has led the community... More

This a very nice park compared to what was there before. It has very nice stairways and vistas along the river to the falls. There are nice benches and places for a picnic, plus it's a great place to take your dog for a walk. There are some nice walkways that take you back to River Front Park, which is... More
