This is a gorgeous park & drive. There are lots of places to stop for views & picnicing. You need to keep dogs on leashes & be aware that the wildlife - especially the raccoons - are a little too nosy and can become aggressive....More

Definitely worthwhile. We drove through two days ago and last month also. Very scenic. Well maintained as well. There are turn outs to get out and take photos. Nice multiple trails. Look out for the hordes of raccoons at dusk.

This drive is so pretty and chill. Hit the zoo maybe or a ferry ride, do the 5 mile drive and grab some lunch. Ruston way around the corner has some restaurant me with outdoor seating. So many options.

The trails are only for foot traffic. Bicycles are not allowed on the trails themselves, but can be ridden on the road without problem. For more information go to the Metro Parks Tacoma website.
