With over 10 miles on the loop trail you encounter parks, desert, bridges, and water. The scenery never gets boring and there are friendly people all along the path. Stop at the 1 mile marker and go to pybus market for food, groceries of people watching!

A variety of areas to check out, most people walking never notice the bald eagles in the tree tops, or the Great Herron in the shallow water,

The trail begins on the East side and follows the River with breathtaking views to the west of the Cascades. The trail crosses the Columbia River and as you head south the views are just as magnificent. The trail is never boring. Its an easy walk. Asphalt, with bathrooms along the way, a few water fountains, even a couple of... More

This trail is awesome.....a close to 11 mile paved loop trail that crosses two bridges is such a recreation plus for Wenatchee. You will see walkers, skaters, bikers, runners...all using the trail. There are now two spurs leading off to Hydro Park and Lincoln Park. The Wenatchee side of the trail is more developed with Walla Walla Park, Pybus Market,... More

The level of local commitment had to be extraordinary to achieve completion of this beautiful 10.5 mile loop trail for walking, skating and bicycling. It is a riverside trail, following both banks of the Columbia. On the Wenatchee side, the trail connects four beautiful parks with opportunities for camping, swimming, boating, fishing, birdwatching (in a protected wetland) etc. One of... More

Constant changing scenery. All kinds of nature and art, along with seasonal activities, and places to dine close by make the loop trail a must do for all ages.

My wife and I were visiting Wenatchee in early October, and rented cruiser bikes at the Pybus Market so we could do the Apple Capital Loop trail. It is a very nice, mostly level biking trip. I'm 57 years-old and haven't done any real biking in years so my legs were feeling tired pretty quickly but I pushed through it... More

It's a nice cruise on a bike, lovely to walk or run, with great views from both sides of the river. This trail could make me skinny if I lived here - I'd be on it every day!
