Great walking and rec area

Wandered around the grounds in the snow and enjoyed the peace and serenity of the area. Trails are nicely done and the views of the 2 rivers are spectacular. Enjoy your visit.

We have stayed here several times. Being north of town and next to the river, it makes for a nice, quiet location. No cable or Wi-Fi, but the hookups (electric, water & sewer) are set up nicely and the sites all have picnic tables. The entire RV area is paved, which is also nice. The main restroom is O.K., but... We stayed here for a river rafting trip. It had a lot of room to roam, nice tent spaces and was right by the bike trail

Visitors from Western Washington have slow to discover this gem. Adjacent to a wildlife reserve where Wenatchee River enters the Colombia. Pass through warehouse district, awkward to find, but follow signs. My Tacoma GPS was a but confused. Park lacks the underbrush of west slope parks, but sites are HUGE, with LOTS of added green space (mowed). Great for jogging,... More

I'm almost hesitant to say how great this place is because I don't want too many people going there! Selfish, I know. But what stood out to me the most about this State Park is that there is so much space and privacy. They have the pull-through RV spots that are just wonderful. There is so much space between each... Full hookups, spacious camping spots, shade and a huge beautifully maintained park on the river with nice showers and facilities, playgrounds for kids. Dog friendly (on leash) but on the river bank you can let the dogs swim, etc. Several very good restaurants nearby ( by car) including India House and Shakti's and multiple places in Pybus Market.. Lemolo Cafe... More

This is a beautiful state park in an industrial area within the town of Wenatchee. It borders on the Wenatchee river. Nice sites, lots of green grass which is regularly irrigated. The only complaint I have is the old style sewer connections. They are 90 degrees to the grade (an elbow is installed at ground level) which make connecting an... More

The park was great! It cost $10 to get in and worth the cost if you can spend most of the day there. It was fun watching kids play and boats flying by while we enjoyed the sunshine. Wish the 'beach' area had sand instead of all the rocks.

It is hard to find campgrounds in the Wenatchee/Leavenworth area that aren't overrun with RV's. But this quite large park that is hidden away behind an industrial park has an overflow camping area that was just great for tent camping. There is a great trail along the river and a very nice, sandy bottom swimming area.
